Effective 23 May 2026, our journal has officially transitioned from a subscription-based model to a fully Open Access (OA) publication model.

Notice: Transition to Immediate Gold Open Access
What This Means for Our Community:
New Articles: All papers published from today onward are immediately and permanently free for anyone to read, download, and share.
Old Articles: Articles published before 23 May 2026 will remain under the subscription model and require institutional access or purchase.
Retained Copyright: Authors of new papers will now retain copyright of their work under a Creative Commons (CC BY) license.
Higher Visibility: Future research will benefit from greater global reach, increased citations, and broader impact.
Information for Authors: Moving forward, newly accepted manuscripts will be subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover publication costs. Waiver programs are available for researchers from low- and middle-income countries.
